So there are Build Date: while my camera has. I was contacted about the Dahua SD59430U-HNI and the answer was that QNAP only supports cameras that exist in support lists and only with firmware marked there. I will also keep the topic alive whenever I found something out which is causing this issue, or if a solution has been found.then raise a support ticket with QNAP and they will address it. So if anyone has/had the same issue and found a proper cause for it please respond on this topic. I guess it has something to do with the cameras being disconnected and re-connected again on the network, DHCP is disabled so all devices have a fixed IP.

so first plan is to update the firmware when I can. This problem is strange and only popped up after 2years being in service with its last firmware update(2018). PTZ or dahua IP, but also a different brand, Axis, and even a analgo to digital converter has the same issue, so its not camera related, it is really something with the Qnap recorder software. So a normal edit and save without changing settings does not resolve the issue.Īll cameras are setup with the same recording settings, and not all of them encounter the above issue, but 14channels do and it is also not linked to a certain camera type.

Toggle under camera edit > video settings, toggle the manual recording on and off, and then go to the schedule select inactive and go back to active again. The issue can be solved by doing the following setps:

It is still showing the preview, so no issues on username nor password and this also proves that the connection is ok. When setting up the recorded channels everything is working fine, but after a while it looks like the NVR cannot connect and due so, does not record the channel anymore. +-66cameras are in network, some of them analog, some axis cameras and some PTZ and normal IP cameras from Dahua.Ĭurrent license is 48cameras, so 48 recorded channels on a Qnap VS8124 U Pro+ currently running firmware version 5.1.3 build 20180524. There are no issues on the network, all on POE cisco switches excluding the few analog cameras. Recently I am experiencing the same issue with dahua cameras on a CCTV stand alone network. I'm sure they'll just say their cameras work and that I need to work with Qnap but we'll see. I replied asking if others were reporting the same issue so we'll see what they say.Įdit: I also sent a message over to Amcrest to see if they would be any help.

I reached out to qnap and when they got back to me they just said my cameras were compatible with qvr pro and included a link to their website. Both are working fine with appropriate profiles being used. Good Job! Is weird that the Wyse config 'interfered' With the Amcrest. So It appears the update yesterday resolved my overall issue. I moved it to Amcrest config and it worked! Didn't even need to use the SUNBA config. and the Amcrest under Generic config stabilized. Just for kicks since the AMcrest wasn't working at all I powered the WYSE back up. I have QVR Pro with 2 cameras the Amcrest and a very cheap wyse. I decided to give it the 'generic' test and it acted the same way. As stated since I updated yesterday both Sunba and Amcrest would sporadically connect and disconnect. Update: Spoke too soon the Issues with My IP4M-1053 seem to be resolved. I have a ticket open with Qnap support but thought I would try the forums.Ĥ x 4 Terabyte disks installed running raid 5 config.Ĥ Amcrest IP8M-2496E cameras connected with a license for a total of 8. All cameras are POE and connected to a Cisco switch. There are no firewall rules in place to block traffic. I'm running a Unifi Security Gateway Pro and I haven't made any changes to it either.

I didn't change my network settings and I didn't install any new apps. The cameras all worked before but this just started happening a couple weeks ago. I now have all cameras set back to their original settings. I have tried changing these settings to see if it helped but it did not. Under 'edit'/ 'Stream & recording', I have the dropdown set to multiple streams and the 'Enable recording' box is checked. If I go to 'edit' then click 'test', I get the green check mark and i see a thumbnail of the video. 'Recording settings' show 'Stream 1 stopped / no connection. He status of the cameras show status 'connecting'.

I can also log into my camera web interfaces successfully and see there is video streaming. However, when I go back out to 'Camera Settings', the cameras show as disconnected. When setting up Amcrest IP8M-2496E cameras using QVR PRO, I can successfully run a test and see that they connect.
